Living with Less Stuff Doesn't Mean Living Without.

I’ve definitely lightened my load of stuff over the years. Especially after 2 big moves (SFO>NYC, NYC>AMS). I would classify myself as an ego consumer. I bought stuff to show off or to tell everyone around me that I’m independent and I was able to afford all the stuff I have. I was not frugal.

Now, I’m still paying off credit cards. But I don’t see my stuff as extensions of my ego. Instead, the stuff exists to support my needs and not much else. All the money I save is now going towards travel and having fun with friends. In the end, i’ll have friends and memories to look back on not stuff.

When riding the San Francisco BART, there are often questionable stains on the seats. Sometimes odors too. It isn’t always advisable to sit even when a seat is available. This chart aims to help. It should be posted in all the trains.

Beautiful video of thousands of ball bearings on a table. Could just sit and watch all the little balls move for hours. Great from afar and also great up close.
